THE WRONG LEG (solo)

orig: 'Het verkeerde been'

Cora Schmeiser: voice and performance

Arnold Schalks: stage design and technique

Cora Schmeiser puts her 'Wrong Leg' forward. She treats the audience to a vocal program of on-stage interpretations to words by Daniil Kharms, Velemir Khlebnikov, Georges Aperghis, and Christian Morgenstern. In awkward positions on the tightrope of a staff, she demonstrates that time is a reversible feint and that 'this now' and 'that now' coincide as if nothing ever happens/happened.

(Parts of) 'The Wrong Leg' was (were) performed in Frascati, Amsterdam / Heidegger, Rotterdam / OCW, stage for small scale events, Rotterdam

Camera: Jos Deuss.
